Sunday evening stroll

Now that we are pretty much over our colds (it’s been 2 weeks and we’ve all had it!) we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood.

Have I mentioned that we live in an awesome little town? We love to go out and admire the architecture. There are so many neat houses here that we can only dream of owning someday.

Kevin had a great time taking in the sites in his stroller. He has really grown into it. On our walk we were talking about when he was brand new and we had to prop him up with a blanket to make him fit in there.

After a while he wanted to get out and practice his new walking skills so we let him push the stroller. He didn’t have much of a view since he was bent over pushing the basket under the seat, but he loved it!

When he got tired of walking John carried him home on his shoulders. Kevin giggled and laughed when John carried him through the leaves of the overhanging trees. Hearing his laugh just makes me smile. We love being parents and we think we have the cutest little guy around!

I had a great time walking with my family. Kevin sure is cute. He is lots of fun to be with. Good picture Becky.

Watch out, before you know it Kevin will be running away from you and won’t want to sit in the stroller, but that’s okay because the new baby will be in there anyway!

I remember when we would go for Sunday walks with John. It was our favorite Sunday activity. Fond memories. John, do you remember when we lived in Chino Hills and Dad had to carry Jed (our old dog) home during one of our walks?

I really don’t remember Dad having to carry our dog home but I believe it. I do remember not liking to go on walks but I never understood the point of walking around without a destination in mind. Now that I’m older, I will wandering around the neighborhood without a real destination. I think I will like it more once we get a house somewhere.

I just viewed all of Marcy’s pics from her mission and your latest slides of your little family. Enjoyed them all. Thanks so much for making them available on your blog. Kevin is SO cute.

Time for me to get to church for choir. Will be in touch. Hope all is well. Love you.
