The pensions of CA state employees are killing the state. This is the single biggest finical issue for the CA. We need to start restricting public unions and reduce the benefits we pay out to public employees.

Bruce Malkenhorst Sr. sits on top of the penison list with 500K a year. He worked as a city administrator and bookkeeper for the tiny industrial town of Vernon. Vernon, CA has a population of 91 people. Bruce kept his pension even after being charged with embezzling public funds.
Wow. 100K in pension. No wonder California is broke.
