RIP: Henry the Cockroach

We had a cockroach living under our bathroom sink for the last couple of weeks. We named him Henry. He would come out every now and then to say hello. He never left a mess, would hide when the lights came on and was only out when no one was in the bathroom. Of course because he was a cockroach his welcome had run out. Last night we found him, out and about as usual. I got him in the corner and swiftly ended his life with a shoe. RIP Henry.

    ick. I’m not a cockroach fan. They creep me out. I think you were generous to let him stay as long as he did :-)

    I’ve never been happy to hear about a death in the household, but this is an exception. I’m glad you are rid of your bathroom mate! Cockroaches are creepy and gross. And I agree with Kira – you were very generous for letting him have an extended stay.
