My friend Mikelle took some pictures of Kevin the other day. She is one of Kevin’s oldest friends. They met at the hospital when Kevin was a brand new baby. She has taken his picture before, and she always makes him look adorable! He always makes funny faces at me when I take his picture.

Kevin is really getting into exploring these days. He crawls all around the apartment getting into cupboards. He loves to bang the dryer door against the wall. He has ended up pinching his fingers in the cupboards a few times. He tackled his high chair and earned his first black eye, though it wasn’t too bad. He also tackles my step stool every once in a while trying to get it unfolded. He knows he can use it to walk around, but he just can’t figure out how to get it set up in the first place. I can’t figure out if he is just hungry or if he’s being silly, but he often opens his mouth as wide as he can and puts it right in my face, sometimes biting my nose. And he sure can bite with his two sharp teeth!
Kevin is taking iron drops these days because his iron was low at the doctor’s office. He even had to have his blood drawn from his arm so they could send his blood to the lab. That wasn’t very pleasant. I’m hoping the drops work and his iron levels will be normal at his 1-year appointment.
Kevin still plays really well on his own but when he is tired, hungry, or has a dirty diaper he will crawl over to me so I will help him. He likes to come in the kitchen when I am making dinner and will stand right behind me holding onto my legs until I pick him up. I guess he’s a pretty normal little boy!
Look at those bright eyes! He totally looks like a mix of your dad and your man. How cute!
Oh so cute! Love the pictures! Hmmmm…maybe she can take ours when we’re down there??
Those pictures are so cute!! What a fun boy!
Thanks guys! I think Mikelle did a great job!
Holly, I bet she would love to take your pictures. She would probably enjoy working with some girls!
So cute! I know the whole iron thing! I hope it does get better at his one year appointment. Lot’s of meat! Oh, and hopefully the formula will help too.
Those pictures of Kevin are so cute! He is so fun. I can’t wait for Connor and him to be able to crawl around and play together!
