All growing up my mom had a pile of papers down at the end of the kitchen counter. Old mail, bills to be paid, precious school papers, newspaper clippings, etc. I always wondered why they never got put away and vowed that when I grew up I would not have such a pile. See below for a picture of my dining room table as it looks tonight. Much of that is the contents of a box that John labeled “Becky’s piles of paper and stuff” and lovingly moved to our current apartment like a good husband. (8.5 months ago)
I love to organize papers and I can’t wait to tackle this pile, but I need someone to come entertain Kevin for a couple days.
I love you mom! And I’m sure I’ll be writing again soon about a quirk I inherited from you.

Guess what…I have the same kind of pile at the end of my counter in my kitchen. I try so hard to clean it up and keep it clean, but it just seems to accumulate there.
Lookin’ good Becky! Ask Grandma K for a picture of her kitchen table! Maybe it is just something we inherit! Love you- (I’d be glad to come and entertain Kevin sometime!)
Good, mom, when are you coming?
woah dood… where do you eat?
Yep, I’ve got it too. I keep trying to get rid of it, but then it reappears. Sigh.
