Mercedes were the only cars I ever remember my parents owning. We had a green car w/tan interior, brown w/ tan, white/w red, cream w/tan, blue/w light beige, and black w/black. Grandpa didn't buy a new car until the old one died. The only problem we had owning a diesel was buying fuel; we had to look for truck stops when we were traveling. I loved the old Mercedes, they were roomy and solid. A lot of great memories are traveling to Texas but that is OK; after all that is where my parents bought the car. The 1982 Mercedes is going home.
