can you read this?

Published by Becky under Our Blog

We posted a really cool Prop. 8 widget on our blog and now I can’t see it on my work computer, and I know my mom can’t see it on her computer.  When you come to our site does it look normal or does it only show you the header?  We’re just trying to figure out what the problem is.

Anyway, I know I haven’t posted in forever.  I have this problem where I try to do everything and I get in over my head and then I have a hard time moving forward because I know there’s a huge pile behind me.  Also – when I get online I have so much more fun reading your blogs and I don’t want to write my own.  Well, I have all these great things I’ve been wanting to write about and I haven’t done anything because I’m still trying to get my posts up from July.  I was always this way with my journal.  I would be really diligent about writing and then I would miss a day, then a week, then a month, and then I never wanted to start up again because there was no way I could go back and write about all the stuff I missed.  Eventually I give up and start in again, but it’s so hard for me!  Unless you are like me, this probably doesn’t make any sense.

Just know that this blog is never up to date and I will likely write about things that happened a long time ago, but I want to record it for some crazy reason.  I guess I just think that maybe someday I’ll have grandkids and they’ll think it is cool.  (because that’s how I am, I love reading my Grandpa’s and my dad’s letters)

I looked through all the pictures I have on my website for September to find something worthy of posting.  As John said yesterday, “we have become really boring, we don’t take pictures anymore.”  Here is the best picture I could find.  Everything else was houses and cars and food…crazy stuff John likes to take pictures of.  This is Leo goofing around while we’re trying to clean out Grandma Sherrill’s house.  Enjoy!
