Memories (of Becky – I will try to get John to do this too)

I saw this pop up on four blogs yesterday so I need to get on the bandwagon.  Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Remember when we were first RAs together? And I was like, “Uh…she isn’t one of us.” But then you were ONE of us. And we were the RANDOM CHICKENS and we had the coolest buildings on campus? Yah.

And remember all those lousy cleaning checks we had to do? But, yet, our buildings were sparkling and smelled good and everyone felt satisfied (after they got over their anger at us for being so “mean”).

I remember you used to always get your hair permed and it would smell like that stuff at home. Why don’t you get a perm now? I also remember the long car trips we used to go on, and we always got to sit by each other and get each other all mad. I was such a nice brother.

  3. Holly says:

I remember helping you get ready for Prom with Christin Harper. We had so much fun and you looked beautiful!

  4. Summer Turner says:

There are SO many goofy memories it is hard to choose one. Do you remember the time we both got sick and we quarantined ourselves in our dorm room? Or the time we each dressed up as Liz Harris for Halloween? Or the ugly couch we bought at DI (what ever happened to that thing anyway?) I think my favorite memories where of us singing all the time. I miss my “Grease” soundtrack.

  5. Lindsay says:

I remember when we were little and we shared the room in the basement and you would say, “Do 10 things to my hair and then I’ll do 10 things to your hair.” For some reason you were usually asleep before it was my turn. And when we would dress up in our closet and have fashion shows. Don’t you miss being little?!!

  6. Mikelle says:

Remember when I randomly called you up one day for a ride to the airport? And you said yes! That was sure nice of you!

  7. lisa says:

I remember meeting you in the library when i was making 5 million copies for enrichment while juggling landon and my pregnant belly. I must have looked crazy!

I have a few things to say about this post.
First, I have no interest in making a similar post.
Second, I think this post is totally sappy and dumb. Case in point, all the women who left a comment and the complete lack of men.
Third, the first time I saw becky was at ward prayer. She had her green Reba shirt on and she looked hot.

  9. Zach says:

Thanks John, for lumping me in with all of the women. You are just jealous that we are so much more sensitive than you.

  10. Marcy says:

Becky- Remember just a few months ago when you were taking us to the Queen Mary ship and we ended up on the docks where it said Semi-trucks only. Then we were being chased by a helicopter? That was a lot funnier for the people that were there (Becky, Marcy Mom and McKenzie) then for the others reading this.

Also John- I have a memory of you speaking of not being sappy. Just let me leave a few words so I don’t have to be humiliated with the whole story! McKenzie’s hair is stylish. Marcy is basic. Becky is just in the middle.

    Becky-
Do you remember when I was young and you were in high school and I payed you to make me look like you because you were so cool? Then remember when you came to Bon Losee and got most of you eyebrow ripped off? I still cringe every time I do a wax!

  12. Jen says:

I hope this makes it Becky! Well, I remember when we worked at Maceys together. We had lots of good times! That’s all I’ll write for now.

I remember you as the easiest RA to pass cleaning checks. Not that we were messy, you just wouldn’t run your fingers on the shower and make us redo it if it felt a little dirty. I also remember when I went to the Anderson Reunion in 2001 and being out of it and someone said, “Margie, I know her!” I was shocked someone knew me there and a little bit scared. Luckily you didn’t follow by saying something like, “She was the craziest Freshman in Rogers Hall!” :)

  14. Carrie Higbee (Dameron) says:

Becky…idaho is so grand. Us Dameron’s have so many memories of being the Anderson’s! Loads of times when we would go to Grandma Anderson’s house after church for dinner. Tons of times swimming in the canals. Playing in the basement in at your house. I think you stayed 1 night at my house and you cried because you wanted to go home. Sad now that I think about it. Girls camp was always a good time! Sleepovers after school! I think Brad and I tried to runaway and hitch hike to your house but the first person that picked us up when we were using our thumb (classic) was our mom…it is okay you can laugh… :-) Enjoy!
