Georgia & Alabama
So I went on a business trip last week. I spent a week in Georgia & Alabama. It was my first time to the south and it was really interesting. I learned some really cool things about the south and the cultures. The culture is really different than the O.C.
I work as a project manager for a company that builds software applications for car companies. The reason why I went was because we started piloting an application that district managers will be using at dealerships. The goal of my trip was three part; train the people on how to use the application, get feedback from users and learn more about the auto industry.
I drove 700 miles in a week and stayed in 3 hotels. Below are some videos and pictures from my trip. I learned that Alabama has alot more personality that Georgia.
Don’t you just LOVE the south!! I served my mission in southern Georgia and Auburn Alabama. It’s so pretty and WAY different then the west. Anyway, had to comment:)The south is GREAT and yes, all the stereotypes are true, but I do get black humor a lot more now.
I’m so glad you made it back safely. I want you to know that my best running song is the Battle of New Orleans! You should try it. It has a great running beat. Hup 2 3 4!
That song is awesome! John was a little surprised when I started right in with “In 1814 we took a little trip…”. I need to get that on my ipod for running, that is a great idea! It reminds me of my childhood.
Some nice pictures John. Did you find me any good antiques while you were there?!!! Glad you had a good trip and got home safely. Love, Johanna
