4th of July
So, its our 2nd year now in CA during the 4th of July. We drove up to my parents house in Arroyo Grande and spent the day at Pismo Beach. It was really fun as usual. Below are a few pictures from our trip.

Nice posts, John. I will add a little. We went shopping in SLO with John’s family. It was going to be just me and John but we talked everyone (Mariah, Vickie and Leo – John’s parents and sister) into going. SLO (San Luis Obispo) is a fun town to walk around downtown for shopping. Mariah and I got some cute shirts at Express and we all looked for shoes. This picture is Leo where we dropped him off at the craft store. I had a great time in AG because I got to print, cut and laminate to my heart’s content some cute visual aids for my nursery music. I hope they will help things go more smoothly. I usualy get a little bit frustrated because I have a hard time keeping the kids’ attention. That is why I am not a kindergarton teacher. But I have to remember that they are all 18 months to 3 years old. Oh well! I had fun working on the visuals with Viekie. And Vickie – if you read this…I found my paper trimmer – sorry I accused you to stealing it.
Oh! I used to love going to the beach to watch the fireworks! Heck, I used to love going to the beach period. I just don’t get the chance anymore. The only “beach” here in Albuquerque isn’t really a beach. My favorite time to go was at night to watch the stars come out. Becky, did I ever tell you about the time the sand glowed beneath our feet? Remind me to sometime…
