I have another niece and she is so cute! Her name is Sophie Beverle Anderson. I can’t wait to meet her and her cousins Eva and Paisley when we go to Idaho in a few weeks.
Congratulations Zach and Holly! You have beautiful girls.

(I stole this picture from their blog. So far all I have seen are the hospital pics.)

We went to Disneyland again! It’s been a while so we were really missing it. We got up really early on Saturday to go for a few hours. It is nice to have a pass and not feel like we have to spend the entire day there to get our money’s worth.
We started out in Innoventions to check out the new “House of the Future”. It is really new so there are still a lot of bugs. But it is cool. It is all about computers and networking everything in the house, from the lighting and the kitchen appliances to the music, tv, and the clothes closet in the daughter’s bedroom. They do have a fun story room where we heard the story of Peter Pan and got to shoot the cannon.

We didn’t ride many rides this time. Only the Matterhorn, Monster’s Inc., Roger Rabbit Toon Town, Gadget’s Go Coaster and Mullholand Madness. John likes the more mellow rollar coasters, he will ride Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain but you will never catch him on the California Screamin’. ( He has ridden the Tower of Terror twice and hated it both times, but he promised he would ride it with me again for our 5th anniversary and our 50th.)

We ordered an I-Scream sundae from the Burr-bank ice cream shop and it was SO MUCH BETTER than the one we ordered on New Year’s. We also got an exclusive Meet and Greet with Chip and Dale and a free 5×7 picture thanks to the Disney Credit Card (don’t worry, we haven’t activated it and we never will, we used it pay down the last of our credit card debt, but that’s a whole new post).

We wanted to ride the new Toy Story Ride in California Adventure but the line was way too long. We figure we will come back another day and stand in line when it is not so hot outside. Around noon we were ready to leave, but I convinced John to let me stay to watch the Disneyland Band. They played Disney movie music of course and it was awesome. I love how it is all these old guys who just really enjoy playing their instruments. It really made me want to get my clarinet out and play some more.
