I'd stock up on the Bath and Body Works too! I don't get the work conferences. I'd much rather be at home with Dustin and Alex.

Karrie,
Work is not glamorous at all. The other day I stayed late at work to go to one of those "encouraging women to be successful" meetings. They had fancy seafoods and wines that I wanted no part of. Then they sat there and talked for about 2 1/2 hours and I got really frustrated. I was thinking I really would rather be at home with John than here complaining about how there are not enough women in management. The thing that made me most upset was that there were women there who I knew had children at home while they were sitting here talking about work. Really, what is more important?

Has been awhile since I've been blogging and am catching up- way to score great smelling stuff. And that whole suicide voter thing is funny. (Am I warped? I don't know.) I don't follow politics very much either and maybe I should care more, but I just don't. I do like to hear what others think though. I've always thought it would be a little glamourous to go on work trips, until I worked and had to go to inservice meetings where the chairs hurt my butt and people just talked and talked about NOTHING. And I was never compensated with smelly soap.
