As you all know I have wanted a Cadillac since I was a little boy. I was always facinated by the older Cadilacs and everything they stood for.
In the last several years Cadillac has been on a resurgence. To bring Cadillac back from its sales decline GM took the designs of its cars in a totally new direction. The new direction placed Cadillac up against the best luxury cars in the world. The first round of cars offered by Cadillac starting in 2002 were superior than the previous years however; not competitive enough to really standout. Now for 2008 Cadillac has two key cars and will be coming out with more in the next few years. These version 2.0 cars are world class and are winning awards. The Escalade and CTS are beautiful and incredibly engineered. I can’t wait for the version 2.0 XLR, BRX, XTS, V-Series and Hybrids.
On the weekend of November 10th we drove to Las Vegas. Becky picked up a 2008 Cadillac CTS as our rental car for the trip. We drove about 500 miles over the weekend and got 24MPG on the highway. The car drove perfect and being able to pause the live radio was so cool. Now its on the top of my list of cars to get.

As you can tell we have not made our usual blog updates.
Well its because we have been too busy. We basically moved, started new jobs, then had the Thanksgiving Holiday, then moved again, went to a play & Christmas party.
Now it’s almost Christmas. I have not played Battlefield 2 in about 2 months. It’s sooo sad. At least we have been busy.

The weirdest thing did happen to me. My face broke out in a funky rash. I used my iPhone to log the infection over 3 days. It has cleared up a bit but my face still itches sometimes. I figure it should be all healed up by the end of December. I have no idea what caused it. By the way, my job is really awesome. Best job I have ever had.

OK, so we moved into an apartment. Then we found out that there was another apartment available down the road that was nicer and less money. So we spent a week moving into our new apartment. It was a pain because we had to work our full time jobs during the day and spend our evenings moving. We got all moved in by Thursday. Then we had to go buy a refrigerator so our food would not go bad. Our new place did not have a fridge.
On the same weekend we drove to San Diego and went to the SDSU & BYU football game.
It was a good time.

Today we went to the beach with some friends and took pictures. The beach is about 20 minutes from our house and is really beautiful. It’s right next to the Ritz Carlton. If you want a room go here. I am sure Becky has more to write than me…..but you will have to wait for her blog entry.
