About 2 weeks ago we went down to Orange County to check things out.

We drove from Dana Point, CA to Laguna Beach, CA on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Below are a few pictures we took; it was really a neat drive.

My Dad thought it would be fun to re-live the good’ol days and dig some holes together.

The best part of digging was my Mom & Dad could not remember where the pipe was we were digging for.

So we ended up digging two separate holes; one to follow an existing pipe to uncover a drain and the other to find a pipe my Dad wanted to use to put in a new drain. We spent about 5 hours on Saturday digging and we uncovered the drain. But the biggest hole we dug turned out be useless because the pipe was too deep in the ground to use for a new drain. The hole was about 4 feet deep by the time my Dad decided to fill it back in. That was a fun.

I love watching a show called “Top Gear.”The show is on BBC so most of the time I watch it on Youtube. Recently they flew to the USA and bought 3 cars for $1000.00. Then took the cars on a 800 mile road trip. The goal was to see if it was cheaper to buy a car vs renting one. At the end of the road trip they would sell the cars and see if the recover the cost. The funny part is they had to complete 3 different challenges. One of the challenges almost got them killed!

Kinda reminds me about the joys of being 14.
