Finished the book…finally
Becky here – I finished two books today. I started rereading the Harry Potter books about a month ago so I would be ready for the new book and movie. Mariah read them all in about a week so I figured I could do it. I was doing pretty good, I would read a book then we would all watch the movie. I didn’t get through #5 in time though. We saw the show last Friday and I finished the book today (Monday). I liked the movie better than the last one. I thought they did a good job of making it more entertaining and not just dark. They had a bunch of funny montages which made it more fun. When I go to Idaho next week I will take book 6 and read it for the first time. I will finally find out how Dumbledore dies.
I also finally finished reading the New Testament. I think it was about 2000 when I set up a schedule to finish the standard works by 2005. I had read the Book of Mormon and the D&C before, but never the Bible all the way through. Well, I’m not as fast as I planned. I did finish the New Testament today and now I have to go back and finish the Old Testament. I got stuck in Job. I think it was making me depressed.
